Affiliates Policy

Welcome to the CARTWiLLS Affiliate Program! By joining our Affiliate Program, you agree to the terms and conditions outlined in this policy. Please read the policy carefully before participating.

1. Overview

CARTWiLLS (“we,” “our,” “us”) operates a multi-vendor eCommerce platform at https://cartwills.co.za. The CARTWiLLS Affiliate Program (“Program”) enables affiliates (“Affiliates”) to market verified sellers’ products listed on our website. Affiliates earn a commission for generating sales through their unique affiliate links.

2. Commission Structure

• Affiliates will receive a commission of 5% to 10% of the total sale value, depending on the product category.

• Commissions are only applicable to sales generated through the Affiliate’s unique links.

• Affiliate links have a 100-day expiry period; sales beyond this period will not be attributed to the Affiliate.

3. Payment Terms

• Payments will be processed as follows:

  • South African Affiliates: Payments are made to registered South African bank accounts.

  • International Affiliates (Diaspora): Payments are made via PayPal.

• Transfer Fees:

  • South African bank transfers incur a 2% transfer fee.

  • PayPal transfers incur a 3% transfer fee.

  • These fees are deducted from the payment and are the responsibility of the Affiliate.

• Payments will not include transfer fees as a cost to CARTWiLLS.

• Affiliates are responsible for ensuring accurate payment details are provided in their Affiliate profiles.

4. Tax Responsibilities

• Affiliates are solely responsible for complying with their local tax laws, including the payment of VAT or any other applicable taxes.

5. Marketing Guidelines

• Affiliates are responsible for promoting their affiliate links through acceptable channels, including:

  • Social media platforms.

  • Email marketing campaigns.

  • Any other digital advertising methods not in violation of this policy.

• Prohibited Activities:

  • Promoting products or links without using their unique affiliate codes.

  • Engaging in brand bidding on keywords used by CARTWiLLS.

  • Redirecting traffic to personal websites or external platforms to fulfill purchases using CARTWiLLS’ brand, products, or materials.

• Affiliates must create their own marketing content (e.g., graphics, ad copy) that aligns with the brands and products on CARTWiLLS.

• Any violation of these guidelines may result in immediate suspension or termination of the Affiliate’s account.

6. Product Promotion

• Affiliates can promote any product listed on CARTWiLLS, including but not limited to:

  • Homeware

  • Laptops

  • Solar products

  • Baby products

  • Cookware

  • Hardware

  • Electricals

  • B2B and B2C products

• Affiliates may access the "Promote Link" button for each product to generate unique affiliate links.

7. Affiliate Responsibilities

• Affiliates are responsible for:

  • Marketing their affiliate links to generate traffic and sales.

  • Covering their own advertising costs, such as social media ads or email campaigns.

  • Lodging any support queries through their dashboard support tickets or via email at affiliates@cartwills.co.za.

• CARTWiLLS is not liable for any marketing costs incurred by Affiliates.

8. Compliance with Laws

• Affiliates must adhere to all eCommerce laws globally.

• Affiliates are prohibited from engaging in fraudulent or unethical marketing practices.

9. CARTWiLLS’ Email Marketing Platform

• CARTWiLLS will launch an email marketing platform to assist Affiliates in running campaigns.

• Affiliates can use this platform to target customers acquired through their own social media pages or groups.

10. Account Suspension and Termination

• Affiliates who violate this policy, other CARTWiLLS policies, or applicable laws will face immediate suspension or termination of their accounts.

• Actions warranting suspension include, but are not limited to:

  • Promoting products without using referral links.

  • Redirecting traffic to external websites for purchases.

  • Violating brand bidding restrictions.

• Lodge a support ticket via their dashboard.

12. Amendments to the Policy

CARTWiLLS reserves the right to update or amend this policy at any time. Affiliates will be notified of significant changes via email or through their Affiliate dashboards.
